Notes on the different types of packaging

The exothermic risers, and THERMO-Risers® in particular, are packaged in cardboard boxes, on cardboard bases, or in skeleton boxes. Within each pallet, the layers of cardboard bases are protected by foils. In cardboard boxes and skeleton boxes an inner foil performs this protective function. The shrink-wrap covering serves to secure the boxes during transportation and to provide protection from moisture. Loading units are either EURO (exchange) pallets or disposable pallets (subject to a charge). Their height, including the wooden pallet, ranges from 1.00 to 1.30 m.
