From 08.05. – 11.05.2023 the 21st METAL CHINA took place for the first time since the outbreak of the Corona Crisis.
GTP Qingdao, a 100% subsidiary of the Grevenbroich innovation and technology leader GTP Schäfer, presented its high-performance riser systems and innovative software solutions to the expert audience.
Managing director Jörg Schäfer, who had traveled all the way from Germany to attend METAL CHINA 2023, drew a positive conclusion: “It was good to meet international customers from the industry for an exchange again after Corona. Only through the direct dialogue between customer and manufacturer, an optimal result can be achieved.”
With the trade fair presence in China, GTP Schäfer underlined its global presence and market position as one of the leading manufacturers of high-performance riser systems.
The overall package of exhibits presented by GTP Qingdao attracted great interest. The visitors to the booth reacted particularly positively to the following products and solutions:
The new PXT/PKXT risers was presented to the Asian market for the first time. While it sets new standards in terms of performance, user-friendliness and cost-effectiveness, ECO risers skilfully score points on the topic that is currently one of the most important issues for foundries: They save up to 35% riser volume compared to conventional exothermic risers. And can be positioned even more space-saving and closer to the casting contour.
They were of particular interest for companies of the wind power industry.
It establishes a digital connection between foundries and GTP Schäfer. And thus ensures transparency and greater efficiency in visit reports and the implementation of samples, complaints and open issues.
METAL CHINA (China International Foundry Expo) was first held in 1987. It is the only foundry fair in the world sponsored by a national industry association. Authoritative, representative, future-oriented and industry-oriented, it is regarded as the flag of China’s foundry industry. Today, it has developed into the world’s second-largest trade fair for the international foundry industry, after GIFA, which takes place in Germany.
