GTP ZENMET presents at the ANKIROS 2024 in Istanbul

Our Turkish subsidiary GTP ZENMET will be presenting high-performance riser systems and innovative software solutions by GTP Schäfer at ANKIROS / ANNOFER / TURKCAST in Istanbul. GTP ZENMET is based in Istanbul and from there supplies the Turkish foundry market.
The trade fair is one of the most important trade fairs worldwide in the field of metallurgy and foundry technology. It is taking place from 19 to 21 September 2024 at the Istanbul Expo Center and is organised by Hannover Messe Ankiros Fuarcılık A.Ş.
About the Turkish foundry industry
Due to its geographical location and favourable production costs, Turkey is currently the second largest producer of metal castings in Europe. The production volume has increased from one million tonnes in 2006 to over three million tonnes in 2022. Investments in modern machinery and production facilities have helped Turkey to play a leading role in Europe.
On ANKIROS 2024
Since its foundation in 1992, ANKIROS has established itself as the central platform for the global metal industry. The trade fair offers a wide range of products and technologies relevant to iron and steel production, foundries and the processing of non-ferrous metals. The exhibition includes machinery and equipment for smelting and casting, rolling mills, refractory materials and testing equipment.
